The app has three game modes. Last Man Standing helps you run a pool with friends, family or colleagues — tracking picks, results and eliminations. Predictor helps you run a score-prediction league — tracking players' predictions and points across a season. Killer is a lives-based elimination game with a Build Phase and a Kill Phase, where players can also target an opponent directly. Fixtures, scores, standings and team data are fetched from our server, which sources data from football-data.org.
We aim to keep the app's live-data service available at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to take the service offline for a period of maintenance — including on short notice, where an urgent fix is needed — most commonly for a few hours on a Thursday, the quietest day across the leagues we cover, to minimise disruption. During a maintenance window the app will continue to show your existing cached data; live updates resume once the window ends. Live scores and the league table aren't fetched fresh on every request. Scores refresh roughly once a minute and the table roughly once every half hour — after using the refresh button, it greys out with a countdown until a newer fetch would actually return anything different. This isn't data being withheld: within that window there genuinely isn't anything newer to show, since our own server hasn't re-fetched from the upstream provider yet either. The same applies to fixtures and team data, refreshed on a longer cycle since they change far less often.
These intervals are tuned for how a last-man-standing pool is actually played — what matters is who won each round once it finishes, not second-by-second scores — and to keep the shared server affordable to run for every league and every player. We may adjust these intervals at any time, in either direction, without prior notice, as real-world usage and running costs evolve; we won't reduce them in a way that stops the app functioning for its core purpose of tracking picks and eliminations.
On the 3+ league tiers you can send players a personal link to submit their own picks, predictions or Killer choices for any game — Last Man Standing, Predictor or Killer. This feature is provided "as is": we don't guarantee against data loss. We may prune pending submissions to keep the service running affordably, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Paid tiers (No Ads / 3 Leagues / 5 Leagues / 7 Leagues) are auto-renewing subscriptions sold and billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system, and are subject to Apple's standard EULA. Player links are included in the 3+ league tiers at no extra cost. Manage or cancel a subscription via the App Store under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. We don't process payments or store card details ourselves.
The app and its data feed are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Football fixture data, scores and standings are sourced from a third-party provider and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or incorrect; the app and its publisher are not responsible for decisions made based on that data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sports Manager is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including loss arising from a maintenance window or other service interruption.
Last Stand Manager is an independent app and is not affiliated with, licensed by or endorsed by any football club, league or federation. Team names and fixtures are shown for reference only.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
