Last Stand Manager (Sports Manager) — last updated 2 August 2026
Last Stand Manager ("the app") is published by Sports Manager. It includes three game modes — Last Man Standing pools, Predictor prediction leagues and Killer (lives-based elimination) — all covered by this one policy. This policy explains what data the app collects and why.
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. By default, your games, players, picks and predictions are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. If you switch on the optional player-link feature described below, some of that data leaves your device — see that section for details.
Fixtures, scores, standings and team data are fetched from our server, which in turn sources data from football-data.org. These requests don't include any personal information about you — they're anonymous reads of public sports data.
You can send individual players a personal link they can save to their phone's home screen to submit their own picks, predictions or (in Killer) build/hit choices each round, instead of you entering them by hand. When a player submits through that link, their name and pick/prediction/choice are sent to our server and held temporarily so you can review and approve them in the app; approved submissions are then copied into your local game data. We keep a rolling window of recent submissions on our server (older ones are pruned once a round is a few rounds old) and don't otherwise use this data. You can revoke a player's link at any time from within the app, which invalidates it.
For each league, there is normally a short window of around one to two weeks between seasons (typically over the summer) while the new season's fixtures, teams and tables are being transferred onto our server. During this window the app may only be able to show the most recently cached data for that league rather than fresh updates. This doesn't affect games already in progress, and normal updates resume once the new season's data is in place.
Free-tier use of the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. Depending on your consent choice (shown via Google's User Messaging Platform on first launch in the UK/EEA, and via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt elsewhere), AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads, or non-personalised ads if you decline. You can change your tracking choice at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on what AdMob collects.
Paid tiers (No Ads / 3 Leagues / 5 Leagues / 7 Leagues) are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Player links are bundled into the 3+ league tiers at no extra charge — there's no separate cloud purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous purchase/subscription identifier to validate your purchase and restore it across devices — we never see your card details. The app is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
