Clubroom (Sports Manager) — last updated 9 August 2026
Clubroom ("the app") helps clubs and pubs run leagues and knockouts for any game — Darts, Pool and Cribbage come built in, and you can define a format for anything else. This policy explains what data the app collects and why.
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. Your leagues, teams, players, fixtures and results are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. Nothing leaves your device unless you switch on the optional player-submission feature described below.
You can generate a personal link for a player or team, sent however you choose (message, QR code), that opens a simple web page where they can submit their own fixture result instead of you entering it by hand. When you share a link, the player's display name is registered with our server so the link works; when they submit a result, that result is sent to our server and held temporarily so the app can pull it in and merge it with your local data. This is entirely optional and off by default — nothing is sent unless you choose to share a link for a specific fixture.
Cloud data is deliberately short-lived: player links and any results waiting to be collected expire automatically after 60 days of inactivity (reset each time the link is used), and submitted results are deleted permanently once your app has pulled and applied them, with an independent 30-day backstop even if that never happens. There's no cron job or manual cleanup step to forget — Cloudflare enforces the expiry itself. You can revoke a player's link at any time from within the app.
Free-tier use of the app shows non-personalised ads served by Google AdMob. The app does not request permission to track you across other apps or websites, and does not use your Advertising Identifier for ad targeting. AdMob may still collect basic device and diagnostic information needed to serve and measure an ad. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on what AdMob collects.
Paid features (removing ads, and cloud sync for the player-submission feature) are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous purchase/subscription identifier to validate your purchase and restore it across devices — we never see your card details and don't collect your name, email or any other account information. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
